Finally art for everyday life.
Utilizing Albert Munsell’s system of complementary colour pairs American artist Cheyney Thompson has created five scarves for the Lynn Valley artist book series which are perfect for anyone who wants to step-out with style and attitude.
Thompson is what we at Bywater Bros. would call a “hard-core” artist, which basically means someone who produces art from the inside-out, dispensing with any extraneous necessities along the way. Thompson explores each facet of the artistic process—analyzing each segment en route—from production, to exhibition, to the eventual reception (by the viewer). His painting and installation works were recently presented at Sutton Lane in Brussels as well as Daniel Buchholz Gallery in Cologne. Along with these two galleries he is also represented by the Andrew Kreps Gallery in New York.
